Virtual Fellowship Breakfast 2023
Event Details
Each year, the SCFSU family eagerly anticipates the Annual Fellowship Breakfast. It will be held this year on Saturday, February 11, at 8:00am. It provides an opportunity for students, teachers, staff, leaders/volunteers, alumni, and friends of the movement to gather to reaffirm our commitment to Christ and to his mission through student ministry. We will be updated on the state of the ministry.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the breakfast was held virtually in 2021 and 2022. Although restrictions have eased, we have decided to retain the virtual format for 2023 with its most celebrated features.
1.A main speaker from across the globe representing other regions carrying out similar ministry to students.
2.Participation of alumni wherever they are in Jamaica and the world.
3.Breakout rooms that address topics pertinent to the overall theme. Participants can join a discussion group of their choice,
The overall theme for Breakfast 2023 is “Step In – Engage In The Mission”. We have been sent to our world and the theme is a call to become engaged in the world in multifaceted ways and not to retreat from it. The focus areas for our student groups this academic year, is to become engaged in their community, the Word and in prayer. The aim is to meet needs as a powerful way to advance the Kingdom of God in our world.
Once again, we will host this virtual event on the Zoom platform. It is free for all to attend. No registration is required, and you can invite family and friends to accompany you from anywhere in the world, using the above meeting link OR meeting ID and passcode.
